Pcos describe a constellation of clinical and biochemical feature for which the aetiology remains poorly understood .Its charactrised by loss of coordinate of menstural cycle.Pcos often affect several family member and aggravated by obesity manafested as hypergycemia and other feature of it is insulin resistance.
SO we give metformin to decrease insulin resistance and carbohydrates metabolism and decrease apetite so decease hyperglycemia and opesity.
